Great hike! It was short and sweet. A great workout. The trail was well marked. I had a lot of fun except for the gnats! Oh my the gnats were so terrible. Just relentless!! We sprayed a ton of bug spray but it didn't help. All we could do was walk fast and not talk-lol!! We were in a time crunch so we had to hurry up and hurry back down. We absolutely stopped at the Candy Store at the end of our trip hoping we could get some of their famous carrot cake but unfortunately there was a scheduled power outage so the store wasn't open. : ( Guess that means I have to the hike again and pray there won't be any gnats!!
