I have been recovering from a non-hiking injury these past couple weeks, so I was stoked to get out.

I opted to take a day off and go on a Monday. Millcreek Canyon is known to be busy on the weekends so the weekday was just right. Saw three other hikers all morning.

The trail is as others have described it. That is up with a little more up. Alltrails gave it 3,068 ft in elevation gain. So definitely a great workout to go along with getting out in nature.

The trail is in great condition and we are fortunate to have this great hike right next to the city. Great views from the top only add to splendor.

On a side note, I also ran into three moose, which is always is a cherry on top.

    1. It was definitely an added bonus. 🙂

How has your peak bagging been coming along? I saw you have done Nebo and Mt. Timp for your past two? Any snow left?
