Our 6th peak! Woo hoo! Views were stunning, pretty much from the very beginning. At the top, it was clear enough to see Catalina, quite a treat. Where is the actual peak? Who knows? Cosmic Cafe was closed for the season. We weren't expecting anything to be open, but the museum was open, as well as the building housing the biggest telescope, so that was a nice surprise. Walking around at the top added some mileage to an already very long day. The 4,656′ elevation gain, and then loss was grueling. Glad we did it, but probably won't do this one again!
