Started a bit late for this one and ended up paying the price! Daylight savings was that midnight, decided to start a bit later ~8am, took a whiles to get to the peak. Summited around 1:45pm, ate, took some pictures decided to try and make it down the mtn before it got dark. With about 1.5miles left, my phone battery is at ~20%, the sun is quickly setting I found myself starting to feel a bit anxious knowing if I used the flashlight on my phone, it probably wouldn't last the remaining 1.5miles. Luckily I ran into, more like saw their headlamps, a few backpackers heading down… those guys were kind enough to literally escort me down the remaining 1.5miles. Crossing the dry riverbed even with headlamps was pretty difficult! I can confidently say those two backpackers saved my life, shoutout Dave & Shawn!

Overall this trail was great, nicely marked, fairly straightforward. Just start early and bring a headlamp!
