Maybe the hardest hike I have done, but also one of the best trails. Definitely felt the elevation at the top! We backpacked to High Creek, dropped our packs, summited, then hiked back down to High Creek to stay the night. Very long day (we were almost out of sunlight when we returned to camp!) but a great trail if you want to push yourself.
