Snowfields to cross – could be difficult

The trail was absolutely gorgeous. Of course it was long and took us a little over 13 hours to complete. But the lush greenery, the many flowing streams, and clear signage made this trail a real pleasure to hike. There is one snowfield near the top that was particularly scary to get over. I took it super slow with my hiking poles and was able to make it through. There were also bugs everywhere, but they mostly just flew around us. Few landed on me and none of those bit or otherwise harmed me. Over all, 10/10 hike. Will do again for sure. Maybe in a few years though. It's such a beast of a hike.
