The gate doesn’t open until 6am so we waited for the camp host to open the gate. Got to the trail parking 5 minutes later. It was nice and cool at the start and in the shady part but warmed up pretty quickly. It’s not shaded for 2/3 of the hike so we made sure we had plenty of water. Made it to the top, as far as we could go without rock scrambling. Going Dow was warm but it was going down so it was better.
