I hiked this one this afternoon. The trail is in great shape, but is definitely exposed. I'd recommend this one being a spring or fall hike, to avoid any summer heat.
The first 2.5 miles are relatively easy and gradual. I was treated to beautiful views of the surrounding peaks. However, the last mile up the hill was definitely a challenge. It was steep, and I found myself using my hands to scramble up rocks a few times. There are a variety of signs at the top, since everyone knows that it didn't happen if there aren't any photos. Overall, the hike was worth it and I can't wait to explore the surrounding peaks as well.
