Starting at Robert Louis Stevenson State Park, when we got to the book statue we took the Silverado Mine Trail. It’s steep and scrambly but short. Got to the fire road and was happy to see that, although a bit hazy, we were going to get the views! The temperature was perfect and there was no wind. We did both peaks and took in all the views of the Napa Valley, SF, Mt. Tam, Mt Diablo and the snow-capped Sierras! Saw a skull of some animal at the top and a rock shaped like a squirrel on the way down.
