This was my favorite peak out of the original 6-pack of peaks! The trail had such a lovely variety of scenery and reminded me a little of the Sierras. The most challenging part of this hike was the last 800 feet. I was literally putting one foot in front of the other and just persevering to the best of my ability. Knowing that this was the last peak out of the original 6 and I had a deadline of Sept. 30th to finish, I knew that stopping wasn't an option for me. I learned a lot about myself on this hike; never give up, hard work is rewarded ten fold, finishing a challenge of this nature is extremely empowering and I am stronger than I give myself credit for. Thank you Jeff for creating such a powerful physical and metal challenge!!!
