I think it was a good decision to replace Potato Chip with Corte Madera Mountain for this year's SD challenge…absolutely stunning trail with lush greens everywhere…didn't disappoint.

Went looking for the geo marker but to no avail. Is there one that you know of?

  1. How was the drive up there? Trying to figure out if there is a better way to reach the trail head and if google maps steered us wrong. The road was only space for one car, had to turn back because it got to dangerous.

    1. This was the direction we took after taking exit 51 from Interstate 8 (East).
      – once you take exit 51, turn right heading south on Buckman Springs Rd. Drive for about 3.3 miles
      – then turn right on Corral Canyon TI and drive for about 4.7 miles towards the Trailhead.

Not sure which route you took but, there were parts of the Corral Canyon TI that were narrow. I just had to slow down but did not any vehicle. Just do the same thing on narrow roads, slowdown and if you do meet a vehicle, communicate with the other driver and figure out who is going through first.
I hope this helps and good luck.
