We started the hile at 6am in the dark and cold. 32 degrees left the ground frozen and a little slick but not enough to need Trax.
By sunrise at the top 3rd of the trail we crossed over a few inches of snow.
As the sun rose the fog cleared and began melting off the snow and ice. On our way down the mud was so sticky and heavy on our boots.
Would love to go back during wildflowers!
