Stopped at the washroom before the hike and at the sink a young lady asks me if I’ve done the trail before as she’s wondering how it is. All I had to say was “it’s hard on the way up, and hard on the way down”.
I hope she enjoyed it! Or at least the summit and the great folks along the way, like the fellow who took my star-jack pic at the summit and the hiker I got chatting with on the way down :).
