It has been one of my favorites hikes , The trail is easy to follow although it doesn’t have signaling. It has a dense pine 🌲 forest, whit certain parts of shade, and amazing views . We had the opportunity to make our hike more challenging 😰 and decide to reach Grouse Mountain , which added 2 miles that in total were 10 miles round trip.  Passing through Mount Pinos after a mile and a half, we arrived at Sawmill to enjoy our lunch and then continue to Grouse Mountain and descend. There is a plenty parking 🅿️ we arrived at 7:00 am and it was empty .
