A cool day with low hanging clouds which made it seem like the peak was higher than it was. View was a little obscured, but the cool weather made for a perfect day of hiking! Took 15 minutes to have my typical hiking lunch of peanut butter/jelly sandwiches. The distance and elevation on Alltrails is accurate and it took about 4.5 hours to complete. The section right before the summit is steep and I recommend bringing along the trekking poles for that section. Otherwise, not a bad hike at all. It was a great way to get out, test the fitness level, etc as I gear up for the remainder of the challenge!
