It was a great day hike! Our hiking group was strong, and we had a great pace going up and down; we even took an hour nap at the summit. The trail was in good condition, lots of water from the melting snow. There was some snow at the top and at some inclined slopes (we used microspikes just for our peace of mind at the slopes). Definitely bring hiking poles and bring plenty of water! It’s getting warmer. Our group wanted to tackle San Gorgonio for training purposes, since some members were doing Mt. Shasta this weekend; great training!
