Did it on 07/09 – Saturday, mostly cloudy weather. We reached trailhead around 10:30 and still found free parking spots. Trailhead marker doesn’t explicitly say Storm King, we followed the signs for Marymere falls trail. Maintained part of the trail is constant climb. Unmaintained part has plenty of ropes. First rope is steepest and also slippery at places. Last section seems scary but has a lot better traction. Needless to add that views from the top are amazing. We waited an hour or so on the top for clouds to clear – views were totally worth the wait
