There’s hundreds of big flies on the trail. I did not know that flies bites. I was wearing a long sleeve but they cling and penetrated in my long sleeve. My right hand and forearm is swollen from the bites. I brought a spray mixed with peppermint, eucalyptus, lemon and water but did not workout. I wished I brought a net.
The hike is long, uneven/dented roads. I find it very challenging going up. My experience is probably so much better without the gazillion flies all over me from the beginning to the end. Our group started the hike at 620am, and if I have to do it again, I will start at 5 or earlier to avoid the heat going up.
The view from the top is incredible.
