Beginning and end of this hike are the toughest. The rest is long and winding but nice. The best part was at the peak. The nicest gentleman manning the tower came down ( not sure if he was with Calfire or the Forest service) , checked we had enough water, told us about the camera on the tower and when where it takes photos. And shared the link where you can see the photos via UCSD. Of course we couldn’t resist timing the one that hits his parking area and checking out for ourselves. All in all a fun time !
