Remember that the first 2 miles is the hardest.

For this hike we started late since the station opens at 8 there might be another way to get there early, but I'm not sure we got there at 8.15 am and there was nobody at the police station I got out of my car to go check and Noone in sight. I sat back on my car and looked at Roxy and told her should we risk it and just pay when we leave? She gave me a long look and I will translate what I think she said with no voice at all telepathically lolll. She said human I need my walk we aren't going back drive and park let's go. That's exactly what she said yep I'm sure of it. I parked and there was 2 cars at the campground amazing I'm usually the first. A couple started before us because I had to get all the gear ready. We started our hike and again the first 2 miles are the worst but doable. We passed the couple and continued our trek. There's something with high altitude hikes that my fasting schedule goes to the garbage. I started feeling dizy 1.5 miles in I had to stop and get something in my belly. My blood pressure drop, and it was a shit show. I drank water and remembered that I totally had forgotten my protein cookies in the car. Oh well I had some nuts which helped alot. Waited at least 5 minutes till my body got in check then we continued. Once I had something in my stomach it was fine. I like this hike trees everywhere it's amazing. A little bit of snow but nothing crazy last year there was way more snow like alot more.  At one point everything went silent there was no sound at all nothing a little Erie if you ask me. Once we got to the fire tower the people in the other car were at a bench sitting, don't know how long they being there but I turned right towards the summit.  Once at the actual summit I left Roxy in a rock gave her some water and I went rock climbing. Well not really there's a ladder and some rope to help you get up. Got to the top took some pictures look for the markers went back down and we went back to the fire tower. Once at the tower the other people had left so we had the tower to ourselves. I got all the footage I needed and went to have some rest and lunch with lil Roxy. As we started eating the couple got to the tower. We decided to chill there they went and got some lunch up the tower. We stayed know the side on a giant Boulder. Then they left, but I never saw them actually go to the summit. We still decided to rest more because well it was so serene and peaceful.

Eventually a woman got to the tower as well, really pretty girl, I'm guessing she had new shoes on because she decided to take her shoes and fix her blisters I'm assuming she did because she took her socks of and everything. We decided to leave so she could enjoy the tower all to herself. This hike is so nice and peaceful. On the way back alot of people where coming up and it just made me happy seeing people enjoying their hike.

With this is 5 peaks tomorrow the 23rd we finish the six pack with corte madera our first time there. Exited to hike.
