This was a very enjoyable hike that started out slow foot path climb under tree cover and progressed up and above the tree line to spectacular views. Towards the summit the trail was a bit more of a challenge but well worth the reward in the end as the summit provided us with views of Lake Champlain and the Adirondacks in NY. It was an enjoyable round trip of approximately 6 hours.

Sounds like a great hike!
It was! I was a bit hesitant about the climb but I must say after hiking up Mt Kahtadin over the Knife Edge no other hike comes close to the difficulty. I am so glad we did Kahtadin first 🙂
