We parked at the campground and started at the trailhead around 8:20am. The bathrooms are horrifying so we used nature’s toilet!

The hike starts out with a steap incline for 2 miles. It was rough but we made it. The rest of the hike was enjoyable. Super nice day. Sun was out with a cool breeze. The trail was all dirt road with a bit of snow. Lots of trees, pine cones, lady bugs, and patches of snow. You didn’t feel like you were in San Diego!

Not much traffic at all on the trail. A few groups. We made it to the top and had our lunch break.
