The hike was more “hot” than “springs” as it was 83 degrees when I completed it, but it was a good challenge nonetheless. The first two miles are up, up, up. Only after mile 2 does it tend to flattten a bit, but still has a few inclines to throw at you.

The summit is actually a rock outcropping that requires remedial rock climbing to get to, complete with safety lines and a ladder. But the views make it work the breathtaking (not in a good way) climb.

This trail is actually on the Los Coyotes Indian Reservation. And as such, there are rules they ask you to abide by. There is a sign posted by the trailhead, please read it and be a respectful guest so we can all continue to enjoy the trail.
