This hiking tradition, now in its 9th year, celebrates our hiking group with a hike ending at Ridge Winery (yum!) after starting at our usual spot in Rancho San Antonio park.  It takes place on the day clocks are set back to give us an extra hour of sleep. We had a great group of both hikers and support folks who met us for the wine tasting and took us partway down the mountain to picnic at a second winery (sadly, there is no hiking trail down this way).

Weather was great!  We saw lots of other hikers on the way up and a nice group of mountain bikers at the Black Mountain summit where the views were practically limitless. This peak wasn't on the original list of hikes, but it shows up in the menu for logging, perhaps left from last year or in preparation for next year?  So, why not log it!
