The trailhead is on Los Coyotes Reservation. It costs $10pp to enter the reservation. The hike is entirely on a fire road. The weather was perfect on the way up, clear and cool but drastically changed in the short time it took me to get from the tower to the summit. The clouds quickly blew in and covered the whole mountain. The hike down was cold, windy and cloudy. No views whatsoever. There were a few snow covered areas but completely passable.
