When the doctor called to tell me I had another brain tumor, I did the only logical thing there was to do. I gave my brain tumor a name, Howard, and took him for a long walk up a steep hill.
That was June 23rd. I didn't make it. We got within a quarter mile from the top and had to turn around. Altitude — and fear that Howard was not doing well turned me around.
On July 7th I tried again and summited. Howard and I are apparently going to have some adventures together.
