It was a cloudy day in the mountains!
I did an out and back from Chantry Flat via Sturtevant. Idk why I don’t feel comfortable doing the loop every time I do Mt. Wilson. Maybe because I usually hike by myself and on the first time I’ve ever summited Mt. Wilson, the rangers told me to avoid Hoegees because there were reports of bear activity the night before. Maybe when I do this with a group, I’d have the courage to do the loop.
Also, my fenix 5x says I did 17.4 miles! But then that’s probably cuz I was roaming around on the peak for over an hour. Who wouldn’t? I was hiking in-on-and-around the clouds to Mt. Wilson!
