What made this hike was hiking with the badasses of Baldy. There was an event called the Heroes Project that raised money for veterans (that we didn't know about) We started around 6:30 and about 1500 people started at 8:00 needless to say the badasses caught up and passed us. It was such an incredible feeling to be climbing the summit with these men and women. Everyone was so encouraging.
