Great first hike to knock out all 12! Only just over 7 miles round trip, definitely the final few ups and downs are rough but after that it is smooth sailing and about 4.5 – 5.0 miles of the hike is pretty flat or a mild incline. Trail was in pretty great shape and it was raining most of the time. The discussion the day before was – what about the weather? Fuck it! It snowed near the top very lightly but was cool to see. Neat little sign at the peak as well. Not difficult at all and a good starter hike to test your abilities if you are unfamiliar with hiking on actual trails. I just moved to California a few weeks ago and it was refreshing to actually go on a real trail on a real mountain and not have pre-made 6 foot wide trails. The scramble at the end was fun too!
