Man I underestimated this one. Having just finished Gorgonio I didn't think I would struggle but its a rough one. I should name this post clinging to Cucamonga because the wind was nuts. I definitely had to talk myself into continuing to the summit even with only a half mile left. I was very concerned the weather would get worse and I didn't want to make a stupid decision. There was 3 active search and rescue extractions going on while I was up here today.

My summit visit was brief and I kept off the rocks again due to winds. I came down from the saddle with SAR all around me so  I got to safely enjoy the sunset.  In all it was a great hike.
