I started at 0700. It was a crisp 36°. I was the first to hit the trail, that I know of. I summited at 0900. I hung out for 40 minutes at the highest point of the tower, wrote a note for the box down below.. then started my hike out at 9:40. I hit back at the parking lot at 1107. A very successful hike to wrap up the summer challenge. Emotional as I could view Elden, Humphreys and Kendrick from the peak of O’Leary. This hike turned out perfect, despite waking up groggy and not feeling 100%.. I still gave it everything I had. Peaceful hike with only seeing 3 other groups hiking in as I was hiking out. Thank you for an amazing hiking challenge. With all the challenges in 2020… this was my favorite. Onto the winter challenge!!
