Lower trail on Easter Sunday was clear and beautiful. First home of the season, so I'm a bit out of shape and didn't quite make it to the upper trailhead as I'd hoped. Loved seeing the bright green lichen and some flower buds on the manzanita!

Today hooking up with where we left off last week all the way to the top was also a good challenge. After reading reviews on All Trails we knew to being snow traversing equipment for shoes. We had cramp-ons. Yak tracks would have sufficed, but perhaps the cramp-ons helped break up some of the ice for others! Saw plenty of others with dogs and partners or small groups. Was amazed to see a 4 and 6-year old with mom's making the trip!

Always love the views and will not let another 20years go by before doing it again like I have til now!
