Hot, hot, hot!! Now, I admit I am not one for the heat. I usually like to hike early in the morning or in the evening. However, we were driving back from Burney Falls and decided to hike Paulina in the early afternoon. Luckily the trail has a good amount of shade, so it was fine. Lovely, gradual incline. We didn’t get a chance to go to the falls but will next time.
