Was pooped out from yesterday's hike up Hazard… So I didn't start early this a. m.

Started at 9:35 am and had the trail to myself as I did the last time I did it. Although about halfway up the heated mtn. I saw a runner heading down.

Was a hot, Long slodge to the summit. The best views in my opinion were when I turned around to see where I came from and saw the beautiful and very full  Lake Cachuma behind me. And again on the way down. I camp there several times each years so I  always peak up to broadcast while fishing or kayaking the lake. Thinking to myself “yeah I hiked that” again

Glad to be done with this one. Was hoping to hit Gaviota tomorrow but my Tendonitis is not feeling too great after these two back to backers… I'm opting for a 3 tours of Hearst castle which I have always wanted to visit.

So no hiking for me tomorrow, after today. Was a great hike, painful on my foot but neat to see the water flowing pretty good near the camp we walk through.
