Started early which was the right thing to do because the heat was way above the forecasted high. If you decide to tackle this one in the Summer, take lots of water. And don’t forget the bug spray because there is no place along the trail that you’re not dealing with flies, gnats or bees. Overall, not a bad hike but definitely suggest this one for Spring or Fall.
