A new hiker joined our group for this one! Unfortunately it was rather warm, and the bugs were everywhere! That made it a little less enjoyable for all of us. I finally picked up a fallen pine bough to wave away the flies! When we got to the summit, a couple of us carefully climbed to the top of the big boulder, being careful not to put our full weight on the old nylon webbing that had been rigged up by another brave soul. What a treat to see the views from up there!
