This was a fun hike. Stopped by the police check point for the ticket. The first part was really steep for a couple miles, then it started to even out.  There were some patches of snow and ice. I wanted to go up to the top of the rock but there was a big group of women up at the ladder and ropes hanging out and taking photos so I didn't bother climbing my dog and I up. Though I still got in a nice view. Walking back down, I got distracted and followed one arrow because it seemed more of a natural flow. Came across a beautiful skyline and could see the whole horizon. Then it occurred to me that I didn't recognize this coming up and I checked my map and added at least 2 extra hours onto my time. All in all, I made it by sun down and it was super peaceful. But upon reflection, I don't actually remember seeing the Hot Springs!
