4/9/2023. Lots of sunshine & clear blue skies. As expected, the first 2 miles will get your heart pumping hard & fast with its steepness & being exposed. But as soon as you enter the forest area, the cool breeze begun & remained fairly mild-moderate. Intermittent snow crossings started on mile 2.5 marker up until the last mile to the top; didn't need microspikes.
