It was a steep hike but well worth it. You enter the Los Coyotes Band of Indians Tribal Campgrounds at 8:00 am. They don’t open before then and there is a $10 few per person to enter. There are porta pottys in the parking lot. The views from the top are majestic. The very top of the peak is tucked away to your right but the trail is hidden so you have to look for it if you’ve never done this hike before (follow the flags). There is a ladder with ropes that help guide you up to the peak. There are many little tucked away places to sit and enjoy the view, we had lunch with the best view in the house. You can also explore the tower to the left of the trail, There were sections on the trail that were covered with snow but because it was a warm week, most of the trail did not have snow, only a few sections. Overall, a beautiful and tough hike. I will definitely do this hike again.
