Ashley did this hike in November of 2019 before I signed up and started the So cal six pack of Peaks. I know it does not count toward the completion for the finishers party but I will have plenty more peace and hike to qualify to still attend in the allotted time. I am excited to have completed such a beautiful hike. I went with a couple of friends, met at the Indian Reservation, my first hike in a reservation. Quick check-in process and we were off. Just $10 per person, not per car. We were the only ones on the trail, peaceful going up and coming back down. The trail follows the forest through small incline decline in straight away is that surround you and Beauty. The actual Lookout Towers burn and most of it is standing, but clearly unsafe to climb. The spot we had lunch at, just below the lookout, had many pieces of broken off Tower. Gorgeous, sunny day overlooking the valley below as we lunched ourselves into happiness. Great Trail. Seem shorter than that and a half miles. Great hike will do it
