This was definitely a hard trail. The first 2-3 miles was all incline. Once you hit the forest, its decent with the exception of the bugs. We started at 8am at the camp ground (a day permit to for the reservation is $10 per person). It got hot quick, so we made sure to bring a lot of water. Hitting the peak felt satisfying but a bit sketchy. To get to the very top, you need to climb a rock using a ladder and some ropes that are already set up. The peak is pretty small, my hiking partner and I fit pretty comfortably but we still needed to be careful. All in all, the trail is nice, as are the views, but I would definitely over prepared with water, food and bug spray.
