This was a very nice hike on clear day after a foggy morning. The fog remained in the valley below the mountain and made the vantage points extra cool. This one is interesting because you can see the destination from the parking lot and on many turns of the switchbacks. The trail is a gradual ascent and there aren’t any steep parts. I needed a nice relaxed one like this as I summited Mt. Whitney last Sunday on a very long day hike. Stopped at TestaRossa in Los Gatos after the hike for some wine and snacks. It was a good Saturday.
That’s three down on the NorCal six pack. I’m now looking forward to Mt. Tam, Helena, and Sizer.
