The hike was hard but totally worth it! The flies and the altitude bothered me at first but then that all went away once I got past the Notch and the cool breezes set in.
Paul McCartney's “Coming Up” played in my head the whole way up which somehow made it easier.
It took me six hours and right near the top I met Armin and Nate who first told me about the six pack of peaks. Then, a group of women at the top echoed what the guys said about the six pack challenge. They were already on their third. I gotta catch up before it gets too hot!
