Beautiful day for a hike. No sign of storm clouds and the wind was low. The hike was rocky in places and lots of tree roots in places. But the ascent was not too intense. Being from Florida the altitude was a lot tho. My husband had to stay at the saddle due to the altitude. But the views from the saddle were so beautiful!! I met a woman at the saddle that was hiking alone and we went together to the summit. Made a new friend! The last mile from the saddle to the summit was hard. Lost my way a few times and lots of scrambling. The views were so worth it!!
