I feel so accomplished! I went right for the third longest and most elevation gain first which may not have been the best idea. But I finished it! My mantra was, “I can do hard things.” I was the only one on the trail. I finished it in about 7 hours. My route followed the trail on the AllTrails app except that I used the Jackass trail off the Blue Ridge trail which was gorgeous! The weather was perfect. There were about 5 downed trees/branches due to recent storm on the trail but I was able to pass through. I had to pass through the Little Coyote Creek twice with no bridge. The water went up to my knees and the water was rushing. Definitely its own adventure. I didn’t see a sign for Mount Sizer where the map showed it being. The views up on Mount Sizer were incredible!
