This hike has been on my bucket list for 2 years. A friend and I both decided to use one of our vacation days at work so we could do this hike during the week. I had read that the hike is “uphill both ways” and I see why!  🙂  I had seen photos posted online of the green sign at the summit, so I knew that was our goal. The sign was bright green and glittery- like something you’d expect to see in the Wizard of Oz.  We had excellent visibility that day so our 360 degree view from the top was clear.  The best part of this hike was doing it with my friend. I know that sounds cheesy, but it’s true. The experience wouldn’t have been the  same had I been alone. We had a great time and we will be going back!
