We we're lucky enough to select the coolest possible day to hike Mt. Baldy in the middle of a heat wave. Because of that we hiked down the Devil's Backbone for the first time. That dirt road section is not that great, but you can safely go much faster than the steep sections of the Bowl.
The best part of the hike was that I got to meet Cecilia L. at the top of the hill, and she loaned me her Six Pack ofBof Peaks. The second best was hiking over to the waterfall for the first time and dunking in to get Cooled Off!
