Cucamonga Peak is my favorite peak out of the original SoCal 6-pack of peaks so I didn't mind having to do it more than once this year! It so happened that it's also the first time I did it in snowy/icy conditions as I don't usually hike in wintertime. I admittedly was only half prepared, gear-wise, not realizing there was snow on the trail. At the very least, I had microspikes so I managed, but having my snow hiking boots would have been nice since my toes were freezing 🥶. This was definitely a lesson to never take for granted all those hikes I was overprepared but then when it mattered, I was not 😞

Still, it was fun doing this hike and 5 out of the 6-pack of peaks I did this year with We Explore Earth. I could not have done it without their support! And with that, it's a wrap for the 5th year I've finished this challenge!
