If this was one of the “easier” peaks then I’m in trouble!

Trailhead:

Miles:

Type of Hike:

Link:

Breathtaking wind, narrow trail, steep incline, never ending switchbacks…quite the start to the 6 pack of peaks challenge!! Maybe it was extra difficult because I was fighting a cold and I didn’t know what to expect as a newbie hiker, but that last mile up to the summit was a grind!! We barely enjoyed the summit before immediately turning around and starting the hike down. Once we got a mile below the summit it was much more enjoyable and the remainder of the hike was fun. But next time I will definitely remember my gloves!
