This is a long rocky hike. I did both overlooks and they both offered magical views for those willing to complete the trek. I saw a few people during the day and everyone was friendly. Did I mention the views? Ok, get off your phone and go hike Mount Wilson!

That’s our next hike! How’d your dog do? I bringing mine, he’s a trail dog!

  Hi Elise. My dog is not a trail dog but she did really well. We’re learning this together. We live at altitude and I guess it’s a little warmer at home than it was there – I just didn’t bring enough water for an almost 11 mile hike. So bring more water (for your dog, specifically, but maybe for you, too) than you think you’d ordinarily need.
